iXsystems Rebrands as TrueNAS

You have been calling us TrueNAS for years, now it's official. iXsystems is now doing business as TrueNAS.

This change reflects how far the platform and those that trust TrueNAS to protect their data have come. With over 60% of the Fortune 500 trusting TrueNAS, and massive growth across enterprise and community edition deployments, the brand you helped build is finally unified.

Thanks for being part of the journey. We are just getting started.

Jens Neubauer’s Home Lab with TrueNAS

Jens Neubauer, developer and IT architect, and member of the TrueNAS Advisory Council, turned to TrueNAS to bring reliability and control to his home storage setup. After struggling with a slow, basic external drive and being let down by another OS, Jens installed TrueNAS on a ZimaCube and built a balanced system featuring mirrored boot drives, SSDs for apps, and 30 TB of RAIDZ2-protected storage.

As Jens puts it, “It’s not about moving fast, it’s about moving thoughtfully.” His story is a great reminder of what the TrueNAS community is all about: building reliable systems that last.
